Open to all fitness levels, our run club focuses on maintaining a Zone 2 pace. This isn't about outpacing each other but about setting a rhythm that allows for comfortable conversations and genuine connections as we explore the paths of Austin together.

*A: Mallorie Buchanan. I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach specializing in Corrective exercise. I am also the sponsorship coordinator and perk coordinator for Squatch!
Q: What's the most impactful book you've read?
A: The most impactful book I have ever read is Eastern Bodies Western Minds. "Eastern Bodies, Western Minds" is a book that explores the intersection of Eastern spirituality and Western psychology. It delves into the idea of integrating ancient Eastern practices, such as meditation and mindfulness, with modern Western psychological frameworks to promote personal growth and well-being. The book offers insights and practical guidance on how to bridge the gap between these two realms to cultivate a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Q: what's your purpose at this point in your life?
A: At this point in my existence, my main purpose is to assist and make deep connections with others in reclaiming their physical and mental well-being through personalized training. It truly fulfills me when I can offer support to individuals on their journey toward improved health, strength, and overall wellness. I know personally what it feels like to be sick of being sick but then to make that transformation into becoming the best version of yourself is the ultimate gift.
Q: How can others follow or start a deeper conversation with you? A: Others can start a deeper conversation with me by literally asking what I do for a living. I will go on a tangent of how I turned my passion into a career.
Q: do you have anything you'd like to share?
A: I would like to share that my second passion is cooking which is why I went to culinary school. When I am in the kitchen I am in my zen mode and love that food can bring a diverse group of people to one table.
