If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

Last Saturday at the Austin Convention Center, the traveling grindhouse of fitness known as HYROX took center stage. Those of you not familiar with the event, it is a gauntlet of 8 (1000m runs) mixed in between 8 other exercises that include:
1000 meter ski
1000 meter row
50 meter sled push
50 meter sled pull
80 meter burpee broad jump
200 meter farmer’s carry
100 meter sandbag lunges
100 wall balls
Needless to say, it’s not for the weak spirited.
We want to say thank you to all of the Squatch members that made us so proud!
Especially those who made the podium:
Erin Finley and Angela Romo
Vanda Taupradist
CJ & Erin Finley
also to those who qualified for the podium but went to brunch……

It was simply awe-inspiring to watch our squad compete and root for our folks as unit. I honestly found myself on the border of one moment screaming to the next ready to cry tears of joy. Simply magical and it would not have been possible without all of you in the Squatch tribe creating the energy and connection that is needed to overcome forces in the arena. For that I will always be indebted to each and every one of you.
Some of these warriors are headed to Chicago June 26th to compete in the US Championships.
If you missed the ATX Hyrox event, but would like to compete in one, Hyrox Dallas is on August 14th. Some of our members will be training this summer for this, so if you want to join in get in contact with CJ Finley.
Stay tuned for some workshops coming this Summer!!!
