Let that sink in.
It’s been a wild journey,
And to think we are close to the end of 2021,
Astounds me.
All of us have been battling the waves of the storm,
All of us in our own boats,
“Owning that shit”, as Coach Gert would say.
And throughout this entire year,
Squatch Fitness has been a light house for me,
And many others.
When I thought I couldn’t bear the storm anymore,
I got to training.
Why?
Because,
“We don't rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.”
As Archilochus (680–645 BCE) would say.
It’s in progressing and continuing our training,
Whether it’s of the mind, body or spirit,
That we can rise ever higher.
So for these last 61 days,
Maybe 60 days if you read this tomorrow,
What will you be training towards?

For me,
I’ll be training towards strengthening my knees so that I can spin fire longer. The goal is to spin fire for at least 10 minutes on my Dragon Staff without succumbing to any knee pain. 🔥🔥

It’s My Park Day | Trail Clean
Join your friends at Buzz Mill Coffee and Squatch Frontier Fitness for a shoreline cleanup to celebrate It’s My Park Day! Meet up Saturday, November 6, 9am, at the Buzz Mill (1505 Town Creek Drive) for a free coffee and we’ll head down to the lake for a cleanup that’ll last till about noon. Then we’ll head back to Buzz Mill for a free Plow Burger or free BBQ sandwich from JNL Barbecue and another free drink to thank you for donating your time and effort to help make our Neighborwoods shine just a little brighter.
